MJ Erickson

MJ Erickson is an illustrator, colorist and merch designer (currently seeking colorist work) who splits her time between Colorado and Chicago. She has an education in history and literature and a lifelong passion for art, comics, stories and games. She's driven to improve LGBTQA+ rep in media and support stories featuring diverse characters and inspiring, interesting women.

Previous work includes: artist on BOOM! Studio's The Thrilling Adventure Hour: Residence Evil (2019), artist and/or colorist on Jennifer Dugan's Circadia (issues #1, 2, 5), artwork for YA author Tamora Pierce (website and merchandise), promotional artwork for Ashley Poston's Heart of Iron (2018) and Soul of Stars (2019). She has also completed two successful Kickstarter campaigns to launch her original Creature Conservation merchandise designs.

In her spare time, she enjoys tabletop games, travel, and hanging out with her girlfriend and lots of black cats.
