Christine D.U. Chung

Christine Chung is a visual artist, residing in her home city of Toronto, Canada. Her strong inclination towards creative endeavors was constant as a young child and has remained a pointing arrow in her decisions.

This pursuit lead her to be a graduate of Sheridan College’s Animation Program and one of the recipients for the Adobe Creativity Scholarship. During that time, she has directed her thesis film, “Timbre” and hopes to direct more work one day. Christine holds a strong interest in cinematic work and sequential narrative and hopes to work as leading contributor for the film industry. Currently her interests are in podcasts, sculpting, and digital illustration. She is interested in stories that showcase the variety of the human experience and is constantly looking for more impactful and unique representations of it.

She hopes to continue that goal in collaboration with fellow artist Salwa Majoka. In addition to their portfolio of work together, they are currently working towards their first author-illustrated story together and are hopeful for the things to come.
