Dorothia Rohner is an award-winning illustrator and debut author, with her quirky, hilarious picture book I am Goose! (Clarion, 2019).

Raised in the foothill mountains of Colorado, Dorothia studied fine art, graphic design, and illustration, and graduated with a degree in Biological and Pre-Medical Illustration. She writes and illustrates from her studio—surrounded by a magical forest overlooking an enchanted pond—where she’s inspired by nature and her imagination. Her grandchildren and the students at Head Start where she volunteers, help her find the humor and heart of her stories.
