Barney Saltzberg is an award winning children’s book writer/illustrator and singer/songwriter of over 30 books and 4 CDs. His books include Beautiful Oops, Crazy Hair Day and Peekaboo Kisses.

Barney is the recipient of several awards; the Oppenheim Award, Parents Choice Award, Children’s Book Council Choice, Book of the Month Main Selection, and Children’s Media Award. Texas 2×2 Reading List Selection. His touch and feel book series, Kisses, has collectively sold over 800,000 copies. Barney’s latest CD, Crazy Hair Day has won a Parents Choice Gold Award and an iparenting Media Award.

Barney Saltzberg has two adult children and lives with his wife, three dogs in Los Angeles. He also teaches a class at UCLA on writing and illustrating picture books.
