Amanda Driscoll lives in Prospect, Kentucky, a speck on the map just outside Louisville. Like any good Kentucky-born girl, she grew up drawing horses.

Her love of art led her to Murray State University, where she received a degree in Fine Art/ Graphic Design. She had been a graphic designer for many years when she had children, rediscovered her love of picture books, and found her true passion. From her home in Prospect, she writes, illustrates, designs, and spends way too much time dreaming up picture book ideas. She has two wonderful children who inspire her every day.
