He has attended the Sewanee Writers' Conference and his writing has been featured on the You're Booked podcast. His interests include food, movies, reading, pretending to read when someone walks into the room, and asking people, “How long of a drive is that?”

He lives in North Carolina with his wife, daughter, and dog.
