Nicole knew she wanted to be a “creative” at age 5 when she first saw adman Darrin Stephens on reruns of Bewitched. Years later she graduated from Tyler School of Art with a degree in Graphic Design and went on to start Bird and Banner, a boutique design studio.

A lifelong lover of quirky picture books, she is thrilled to be a debut children’s book illustrator. Giraffe and Jackal Are Friends (Again!), written by Lisa Robinson, arrives in November. Nicole lives in Lancaster, PA with her husband, son and pet jackal (who’s really a German Shepherd).
