TODAY IS CHILDREN'S DAY by Aram Kim sells to Farrar, Straus and Giroux (Agent: Erica Rand Silverman)

Joy Peskin at Farrar, Straus and Giroux has bought, in an exclusive submission, Today Is Children's Day by Aram Kim, a picture book about a sister and brother who learn about the Korean holiday Children's Day, which honors children, and then want to celebrate this special day with their parents. When a mishap occurs, the siblings learn the true value of family. Publication is slated for spring 2027; Erica Rand Silverman at Stimola Literary Studio brokered the deal for North American rights.
