Mary GrandPre’

Mary GrandPré is the award-winning illustrator of a number of picture books, including the Caldecott Honor The Noisy Paintbox, The Colors and Sounds of Kandinsky’s Abstract Art by Barb Rosenstock, Camille Saint Saëns’s The Carnival of the Animals by Jack Prelutsky and Chin Yu Min and the Ginger Cat by Jennifer Armstrong.

She also illustrated The Blue shoe by Roderick Townley and Nancy and the Plum by Betty MacDonald, both novels for young readers. She is perhaps best known for creating jackets and illustrations for the Harry Potter series.
