Jan Blazanin lives with her life partner Mike on eleven wooded acres in Waukee, Iowa. Her other companions are their three dogs, two cats, and a small but noisy flock of guinea fowl. To fuel her writing imagination, Jan runs five miles a day, pumps iron, and practices wildflower gardening by trial and error. Her debut YA novel, Crowning Glory, is scheduled for publication with MTV/Pocket Books in Spring 2009. |
