Dinah Diwan |
Born
in 1962 in Beirut, Dinah Diwan moved to Italy in 1975 and graduated
with a degree from the Paris School of Architecture in 1987. Very soon
after, she opened a studio exploring the theme of life by the Mediterranean
Sea through her multidisciplinary approach to art; creating paintings,
drawings, designs, architecture, and ceramics. She has exhibited her
work in galleries in Paris, including two solo exhibitions at the prestigious
Esther Woerdehoff Gallery. Although primarily an architect, Dinah is
an artist at heart and has been commissioned to design projects such
as limited edition lithographs, graphics for the World Bank, and memorabilia
for the Paris Jewish Museum. Most recently, she has lent her illustrative
talents to The Ethnic Paris Cookbook (DK/Penguin). She currently resides
with her husband and three children in Paris. |
